Beautiful design
Clean, elegant and easy to use. In my humble opinion, possibly the best of all the weather apps available to date. The menu navigation makes sense. It also allows you to sign in with your Yahoo! account and sync things up.
The Settings menu, allows you to set all the necessary items without over complicating anything. You can also set the app to have a constant presence in the notification area – that way, you’ll know the weather for your location, all the time.
With all the geeky items out-of-the-way, let’s take a look at the app itself. Swiping right and left will cycle your locations – I chose Paris for illustration purposes, as my city doesn’t have an image representing it yet (but I’ve posted one to the Flickr group, where you can do the same). You’ll see a picture of the location, as well as the temperature, and general weather conditions.
The fun part comes when you scroll down and the app gives you all the weather details for your specific location.
…details of today’s weather…
…or the time the sun rises and sets, as well pressure and wind speed.
If you take a look at your tablet or smartphone’s app menu, you’ll notice that the app also comes with a whole bunch of widgets to add to your Android home screen, as seen below.
You can grab the new app from the Google Play Store. Hopefully the Package File Invalid error won’t stop you from getting it either… Comment Name * Email *
