WandaVision on Disney Plus
WandaVision, exclusively on Disney Plus, is said to be the Marvel universe’s most comic book show yet. It is a complex storyline, to say the least, and will be released on an episodic basis. It features two characters and a setting that will be virtually impenetrable to new viewers. So much so that Marvel Studios is producing a clip show recapping critical moments of the 23-odd Marvel films that precede it. This is exciting for popular geek culture since, in the Star Wars universe, The Mandalorian just wrapped up with an exciting finale to season 2. Here is a brief description of what you can expect from WandaVision (Courtesy Disney):

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The series is directed by Matt Shakman with Jac Schaeffer as head writer. Composer is Christophe Beck, and theme (for certain episodes) is by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Featuring nine episodes, “WandaVision” kicks off on Disney+ on January 15, 2021. Disney Plus is available on virtually all devices and platforms including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android mobile devices, web browsers, and devices like Fire TV and Fire HD. It is also on Chromecast, Chromebook, Samsung and LG smart televisions, Roku devices, PlayStation4, Xbox, and on Windows 10. It’s available wherever streaming services reside.
