Scenario: Let’s say I want to take a spare tire I have laying around and sell it on craigslist. I’ve gone ahead and taken my pictures and copied them onto my computer from my camera or phone. Now I just need to copy the files onto the internet so potential buyers can see them. The problem however with sites like Craigslist is they only allow you to upload a few photos of that thing you’re trying to sell. So that’s where this groovy free photo gallery feature from Dropbox comes in. Before: (on my computer)

Want to learn how to do it? Before we get started, here’s just a few things to note:
Showing people one gallery on your account does not give them access to the rest of your Dropbox.Anyone with the link to your Gallery will be able to see it, even if it is not in your Public folder.You can remove these photos from the online gallery by simply deleting them or moving them into a different folder.This How to was written assuming that you already have Dropbox installed on your computer.
Turn a Dropbox Folder into a semi-private Online Photo Gallery
Step 1
Copy the photos you want to share via Dropbox Galleries into an Empty folder. Now copy that Folder into your Dropbox\Photos directory. It’s important to group your photos into their own folders because that is how Dropbox creates galleries. You cannot create a Gallery using individual files. In my example, I create a folder names Tire and copied it into my Dropbox\Photos folder.
Step 2
Right-click the folder you just moved or created in Dropbox\Folders\ and SelectDropbox > Copy Public Gallery Link. Note: we’re still in Windows explorer here, not on the dropbox website
Step 3
Now, all that is left to do is paste the URL in your web browser and you can view the online gallery.
Done!
If everything looks good, all that is left to do now is share the link with your friends, family, coworkers, clients, or whoever you want to see it. Just remember, whoever you give the URL to can also share it with others and all it takes to access the gallery is the web address. Picasa makes a mean alternative, especially now with their free small photo and video storage, but Dropbox gives you 2GB for free, and if you refer enough people you can get up to 11GB without paying a dime; enough space for all of your high-quality photos and then some. Unfortunately, Dropbox galleries don’t show videos yet… B Do you know if there is any ’embed’ HTML we can use to display the contents of a gallery folder on another web page? Works? It takes 6 clicks to save one picture and I guess each recipient will want to save around 30-50. Like I said, this is a real pain when there are dozens to copy; I don’t think they will become DropBox users. The wish is for them to be able to select those that they like and then download them in one go, like you do with File Explorer and other programs. Is that possible?
