With Dashboard for Google Chrome, users can easily take notes and perform different calculations without opening any other application. To get started, go to the Dashboard for Chrome Page on Google Web Store click on Add To Chrome button to install the extension.
Click on the Install button when asked for confirmation.
Once installed, you will receive a confirmation message as shown below.
Clicking on Dashboard for Chrome icon will open a pop-up with compact calculator and a notepad right inside Google chrome. You can remove the default text by double clicking in the notepad area and write whatever you want to without opening Notepad or Microsoft word.
The feature I like the most in Dashboard extension for Google Chrome is that it allow users to search many different services (including Google, Yahoo, YouTube, Flickr etc.), Google Translate, Maps, etc. Just select the service, type the keyword you want to search for and it will open the search results in a new tab.
Dashboard for Chrome is a handy extension for all those users who like to take notes while browsing. If you want to uninstall Dashboard for Chrome, simple right click on extension icon and click on Uninstall button.
